Peter Wood has performed several times at Portico Plaza Shopping Centre in Toongabbie and has always drawn a huge crowd.   I am the Marketing Director for the shopping centre, responsible for the selection and organisation of the school holiday program. Peter makes my job so much easier and rewarding. Peter provides professional photos for marketing, reconfirms the booking ahead of time and arrives early on the day. His shows attract large crowds, with standing room only. He performs two shows on the day and both shows are different so that those who attend are encouraged to stay around for the second show, which provides much needed extra sales opportunities to struggling retailers in today’s economy.

Peter has the perfect rapport with the audience and cleverly includes slapstick humour and pantomime style audience participation. There is a wonderful combination of silly trickery that get the children shouting and responding, but Peter also delights the parents with real, skillful magic.   I would strongly recommend Peter for any shopping centre, school or holiday program.

I’ve booked Peter for three child care centres in the last 3 years and he never fails to deliver. He has a range of shows so it’s always new, and he has two levels of humour, that for the children, and that for the adults, and both are laughing hysterically throughout the show. He is professional and takes his time to set up and pack away and he has tremendous ways of involving the children in his show. But, what I like best about Peter is his patience. Entertaining 30+ children under 5 years old can get quite chaotic, especially when they’re excited and having fun. He doesn’t get frustrated or impatient with the children being rude or disruptive, but simply moves on with the show in a way that supports and includes the children. There is one thing that puzzles me though……. how does he get that coffee table to levitate to the ceiling???
